In this Webinar, Dr. Samuel Andrew Hardy from the Norwegian Institute for Cultural Heritage Research (NIKU) presented his research on looting taking place in war-affected regions of Ukraine. His research focuses on profit-driven, private looting by individual soldiers, as well as political theft encouraged by the Russian authorities as part of the cultural destruction of Ukrainian society.
