SUMMARY:Migrant workers\, the unnoticed side of the workforce - evaluation in terms of legality and other aspects
DESCRIPTION:📌 The in-person workshop will take place in Istanbul\, Türkiye\,\n📆 July 22-23\, 2024\, hosted by the Yıldız Technopark University. \nAbout the Topic:\nThe workshop will focus on practices developed by local authorities\, in cooperation with European and international agencies for managing the impact of refugees and asylum seekers on the labor market and preventing illicit trade implications. Multidisciplinary theoretical reflections\, case studies\, and comparative analyses are welcomed. \nCall for abstracts:\nIf you are conducting research related to refugees and asylum seekers\, we invite you to submit an abstract to this workshop. Selected participants will have the opportunity to present their research during the workshop and contribute to valuable discussions. \nPlease submit your abstract to the Leader of WG2\, Daniela Irrera: daniela.irrera@ssuos.difesa.it by June 30th\, 2024. \nParticipants will receive official confirmation of the workshop by July 5th\, 2024. Travel and accommodation expenses related to the workshop will be covered according to the COST Action Travel Reimbursement Rules. \nTravel and accommodation expenses related to the workshop will be covered according to the COST Action Travel Reimbursement Rules.
